Quick update on current position:
I am in the only place in town with functioning wifi and will have to pay through the nose if I spend more than ten minutes here so…
Alex is well, en route on 15 hour jeep journey to Khorog where I have been waiting for two days. We , along with James, are leaving towards the high plateaus of the Pamirs tomorrow morning! This is one of the remotest places in the world, so we will most likely not post again until we reach China (assuming we are not blocked by censorship!)
Cycle to Shanghai 
Awesome world to be travelling through. The people and the scenery must make the pain worthwhile. Good look to you all for the high Pamir.
But what has happened to the tracker – it hasn’t moved from before Khorog? Hope you can reply before you depart in a few hours.

Thank you Nico for these last blogs and these wonderful pictures going with them. I know we have talked before you left again but I just want you to know that I keep looking at them and tracking you both on the spots and Google Earth which gives us a very good idea of where you are all the time as quite a few pictures are posted of where you are… so , we are travelling with you …. at 3500m in our heads !!
